Creating
Quantities
The Quantities that will be used in conjunction
with your Jobs are entered into the system.
From the main "Job Tracking" tab,
click on either the "Quantity" link
located in the row of links at the top of the
screen, or on the [QUANTITIES] icon located under
the Create/Edit
header.
- 1.Click on the [ADD] icon to create a new
Quantity.
- Enter a Name
and Description
for this Quantity, as you would like them
to appear in the system.
- Click on the [CREATE] icon to save the
Quantity.
- Existing Quantities appear in the Quantity List.
Most models of time clock allow the option
to input a quantity with a Job Tracking punch.
The Used
at the Clock column allows you
to specify which quantity will be assigned
to time clock entries. Put a check mark in
the desired option.
Existing Quantities
The Quantities that have been entered into the
system are maintained from the Quantity
List screen.
- Click on the link in the Name
column to edit the name and description of
the Quantity. The Active
setting allows you to specify that the Quantity
is currently in use.
- The Description
column displays the description that was entered
when the Quantity was created.
- The Used
at Clock setting specified in the section
above can be changed at any time.
- Click on the
icon to remove the Quantity from the system.
Note:
Quantities that are assigned to the time clock
cannot be removed from the system.
