Break
Policies
Break Policies allow you to track the length
of the breaks that your employees are taking without
deducting the time from the employee's Time Card.
Employees must punch "IN" and "OUT"
at the time clock using the <BREAK> key
on the clock keypad.
There are three types of Break Policies in the
TimeForce II system.
Scheduled Breaks
A scheduled break uses a specified range of
time during which employees are allowed to take
their breaks.
Unscheduled Breaks
An unscheduled break allows you to specify the
length of the break and the number of breaks that
the employee is allowed in a day.
Floating Breaks
This type of Break Policy is used to comply
with the state of California's laws and regulations
concerning employee breaks.
See California
Meal/Break Requirements for more information.
