The following Premium types are available in
the TimeForce II system.
Premium Type |
Description |
Example |
Window |
This
type of Premium is setup so that
the Premium only applies during a particular
time frame on a day, range of days, or
during specific times. |
This
type of Premium is usually used for evening
or graveyard shifts or for a Premium that
only occurs on a Saturday or Sunday. |
Threshold |
This
type of Premium is setup so that the employee
must have a certain number of hours under
a Base Pay Code before the Premium activates. |
An
example of this would be used to give
the employee a pay differential for any
hours over 35 in the work week. This type
of policy works very similar to an Overtime
Policy. |
Policy |
This
Premium type is setup so that the Premium
is activated every time the employee has
worked hours. |
This
type of policy can apply to a department,
job, or task for example. |
Call Back |
This
application type allows you to specify
a number of hours between shifts worked,
and gives employees a Premium for being
called back into work before the specified
number of hours has passed. This includes
time spanned across midnight, but does not
include punches for lunches, breaks, etc. |
The
number of Off
Shift Hours specifies how long
after a shift ends before the Call Back
policy will go into effect. Employees
will not receive Overtime and Call Back
pay at the same time. If the employee
works on a Holiday and gets called back
in, Call Back pay will take precedence. |
Employee |
This
application type is for use with paid
Absence or Holiday hours. |
The
specified Premium is automatically applied
to the selected "non-worked"
hours. This type cannot be applied to
"Worked" hours, and Supervisors
have the ability to override the Premium
from the Time Card. |
