Employee Availability

The Employee Availability section appears near the bottom of the screen. You may need to click on the icon_black_down.jpg icon to maximize the section.

This section is used to enter the days of the week on which the employee is available for work. Partial and split availabilities can be entered, and the employee's preference is noted.

Use the Department field at the top of the section to specify a specific department level. Click on the "No Department" link and make the desired selection from the menu that appears.

This section appears as a table, with the days of the week represented as table rows.

  • The day of the week is listed in the Day column.
  • The Availability Status column allows you to specify an availability for that day. Select "Not Available," "Partially Available" or "Available" from the drop-down menu.
  • The Availability column is for use when the employee is only partially available for the day. Select the starting and ending times of the employees availability, and select "AM/PM" from the drop-down menu.
  • Enter the employee's Preference for each day of the week. Input the starting and ending times and select "AM/PM" from the drop-down menu.
  • The icon_black_plus.jpg icon allows you to add additional rows to a day of the week. This is for use when the employee has split availability for the day. Click on the icon_black_minus.jpg icon to remove a row.

Once availabilities have been entered, click on the [SAVE] icon to save the changes that you have made.
