Email
Notification
Email notification in the TimeForce II system
allows you to specify that any time a selected
error appears on an employee’s Time Card, an email
is sent to the supervisor that the employee is
assigned to.
Setup
This functionality contains two separate setup
screens. The first is “Error Defaults” located
in the main “Admin” section of the program. This
screen allows you to set up the default Error
Monitoring settings for all employees in the system.
Error Monitoring settings can also be specified
on a per-employee basis from the “Error Monitoring”
section of the main “Employee Tab.”
In either screen, simply place a check mark
in the Email
setting for each error that you would like the
system to notify supervisors of. The email address
used is taken from the
Email setting specified in the supervisor’s
employee profile.
Specifications
- Notification email will be sent for errors
on punches generated by a physical time clock
or Self Service entry only.
- All error notifications are sent only once.
Network Settings
Click on the main "Admin" tab, and
then on the "Settings" link located
under the System
Tools heading. Locate the SMTP Server
section of the screen.
This section is used to configure an email server
which TimeForce II will use to send emails to
employees and supervisors.
