Schedule
by Template
This method of scheduling allows you to assign
multiple employees to a schedule using the same
schedule template.
- Select "Schedule Template" from
the Assign
Employee by drop-down menu.
- Select the desired Schedule
Template from the drop-down menu. All
employees assigned to this schedule will also
be assigned to the template selected here.
Click on the [CREATE NEW TEMPLATE] icon to
create a new Schedule Template at the bottom
of this screen.
- Enter an Effective
Date for this schedule. Click on the
icon to
select the date from a calendar.
- If you would like to add a department level
to this schedule, click on the link in the
Department
field and make the desired selection from
the menu that appears.
- If you would like to assign a job to this
schedule, click on the link in the Job
field and make the desired selection from
the menu that appears.
- To assign a Task
to this schedule, make the desired selection
from the drop-down menu.
To assign employees
to this schedule click on the Show
Employees link
located to the right of the Employees
field. The Unselected
and Selected
boxes appear.
- Click on the icon
in the Schedule
Template Detail section to view the
details of the selected Schedule Template.
This allows you to view the template information
as schedules are being created.
- Click on the [ASSIGN EMPLOYEES] icon. A
message appears which reads "The selected
employees have been applied." Click on
the "View Schedules" link to view
the created schedules.
