Schedule by Template

This method of scheduling allows you to assign multiple employees to a schedule using the same schedule template.

  1. Select "Schedule Template" from the Assign Employee by drop-down menu.
  2. Select the desired Schedule Template from the drop-down menu. All employees assigned to this schedule will also be assigned to the template selected here. Click on the [CREATE NEW TEMPLATE] icon to create a new Schedule Template at the bottom of this screen.
  3. Enter an Effective Date for this schedule. Click on the icon_calendar.jpg icon to select the date from a calendar.
  4. If you would like to add a department level to this schedule, click on the link in the Department field and make the desired selection from the menu that appears.
  5. If you would like to assign a job to this schedule, click on the link in the Job field and make the desired selection from the menu that appears.
  6. To assign a Task to this schedule, make the desired selection from the drop-down menu.
  7. To assign employees to this schedule click on the Show Employees icon_black_down.jpg link located to the right of the Employees field. The Unselected and Selected boxes appear.

    • The Department Filter field allows you to filter the list of available employees by "Home" or "Allowed Schedule" departments. Select "All Departments" to filter by a specific department level.
    • Employees are listed in the Unselected box. Click on a letter at the bottom of the box to filter the list by the first letter of employee last names. Select the employees that you would like to assign to this schedule.
    • Click on the icon_assign.jpg icon to select the employees. The employee names are moved to the Selected box.
    • To remove employees from the schedule, make the desired selections from the Selected box and click on the icon_delete.jpg icon.
    • The Quick Search box allows you to search for the desired employee by first and last names, ID and card number.

  8. Click on the icon_black_down.jpg icon in the Schedule Template Detail section to view the details of the selected Schedule Template. This allows you to view the template information as schedules are being created.
  9. Click on the [ASSIGN EMPLOYEES] icon. A message appears which reads "The selected employees have been applied." Click on the "View Schedules" link to view the created schedules.
