Time & Attendance Procedures

This topic group will walk you through the procedures that you will use regularly when closing a Pay Period.

  • Punch Processing describes how the system automatically processes your downloaded punch data into the program database.
  • Time Cards is where Time & Attendance totals for each Pay Period are displayed. The purpose of this screen is to ensure that your employees' punches are correct before payroll is calculated.
  • My Screen provides you with up-to-the-minute information on employees that are currently clocked into the system, and also allows you to create Mass Entries, review Time Off Requests, etc.
  • Reports allow you to print comprehensive reports detailing your Time Card, Employee and Schedule information.
  • Close Pay Period walks you through reviewing and editing employee Time Cards and Verifications, calculating final hours totals for a completed Pay Period, and exporting Hours & Earnings information to an external payroll software.
