Time
Card Errors
This feature displays the Time Card errors for
the employee, and allows you to review and edit
them as desired.
Click on the main "Time Card" navigation
tab at the top of the screen. The Employee
drop-down menu allows you to select the employee
who's Time Card you would like to edit. Click
on the and icons to scroll through employees,
or the icon to
search for the desired employee.
This feature displays errors on a per-day basis.
Click on a day of the week header at the top of
the Time Card table to highlight it, and then
on "Errors" located in the row of links
directly above the table. The Work
Area appears above.
Each punch on the Time Card for the selected
day is displayed. Click on the punch to view any
assigned errors. General errors not specific to
any one punch will be displayed under "Non
Punch Errors." For punches with errors, the
Errors
screen appears.
- The Abbreviation
and Name
columns displays the abbreviation/name for
this error as specified in the Error Defaults
section of the program.
- Use the Notes
column to enter punch notes concerning this
error.
- A status can be set for each error.
"Open" means that the error has
not yet been reviewed. A status of "Reviewed"
means that the punch error has been reviewed
and allowed to remain on the Time Card. Select
"Excused" to excuse the Time Card
error.
- Click on the [UPDATE] icon to save the
changes that you have made.
You must refresh the Time Card to view changes
made based on Time Card errors.
